Hoggard dominates West Brunswick

Hoggard got 6-0, 6-0 victories from Chase Horton (No. 1), Dom Scialabba (No. 4) and Dillon Cook (No. 5) in a convincing 9-0 victory over West Brunswick on Wednesday afternoon at the Jeff Holcomb Tennis Complex.

The Vikings (5-2, 4-1) lost just 6 games in singles and 1 in doubles. Cook and Cadman Styers earned their first singles victories of the season and paired together for an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.

Horton improved to 7-0 in singles on the season, while senior Matt Jensen moved to 6-1 after a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2.

Hoggard travels to South Brunswick at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
