Hoggard goes to 3-0 in conference

     Hoggard moved another step closer to claiming a fifth consecutive Mideastern Conference title with a 7-2 win over Greenville Rose.
     The Vikings (10-2, 3-0) were dominant in singles, winning all six matches. They only gave up eight games at Nos. 2-6.
     William Visser won his ninth consecutive match and is now 10-1 on the season, including a perfect 7-0 record at No. 5.
     Hoggard has a tough weekend, with matches against the top two teams in 3A, Cardinal Gibbons (Friday) and Chapel Hill (Saturday).
